The F-16 first flew in 1976. It’s a single seat, single engine, low cost, multirole fighter. Originally developed by General Dynamics, it has been widely produced around the world.
The 162nd Fighter Squadron “Cougars” was stationed at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport, Ohio.
